Montville firms Marotta Controls, Day Out Snacks score major wins
Aerospace supplier Marotta Controls received a Lockheed Martin award while snack maker Day Out Snacks expands to Target stores nationwide.
Marotta Controls in Montville announced on June 23 that it is one of 11 recipients of the Lockheed Martin Exceptional Small Business Performance Award for 2025. The aerospace and defense supplier earned this honor as part of an annual recognition program presented by Lockheed Martin.
This award marks a fifth time Marotta Controls has received the distinction, which spotlights small business suppliers that delivered significant value and innovation to the division over the previous period.
In another local development, Montville-based Day Out Snacks is launching its protein balls in more than 2,000 Target stores nationwide. This expansion brings the company's products to a much wider audience across the country.
