Montville firms Marotta Controls, Day Out Snacks score major wins
Aerospace supplier Marotta Controls earned a fifth Lockheed Martin award while snack maker Day Out Snacks expands to Target stores nationwide.
Marotta Controls, an aerospace and defense supplier based in Montville, announced on June 23 that it received the Exceptional Small Business Performance Award from Lockheed Martin for 2025. This marks the fifth time the company has earned this specific honor.
The annual award recognizes small business suppliers that delivered significant value and innovation to the division over the previous period. Marotta Controls was one of only 11 recipients selected for this distinction.
In a separate development, Day Out Snacks is expanding its reach with a nationwide launch at Target stores. The Montville-based company will now sell its protein balls in more than 2,000 locations across the country.
