He advocates for this technology alongside a professor from Columbia University who supports the initiative in Trenton.

Senator Pennacchio explains that fusion differs fundamentally from current nuclear fission methods by fusing atoms together rather than splitting them apart. The collision and joining of these atoms create energy without the same waste profile as traditional nuclear power plants. This legislative push aims to bring advanced commercial production capabilities directly into New Jersey's energy portfolio.

Lionsgate Studios Secures Record Green Loan

In Newark, Lionsgate Studios has secured a record $101 million loan under the Garden State Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program known as C-PACE. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority and Nuveen Green Capital announced the closing of this financing on August 13.

The funding is administered alongside senior lender MCCP to support construction projects focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy at the studio complex. Specific improvements planned for the site include solar installations and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Marine Life Anomalies Reported

Nearly 30 small sharks were found washed up between 29th and 39th Streets on a Sea Isle City beach this week. Michelle Greenling discovered the animals and told CBS Philadelphia that seeing three, four, or five of them made her realize something was unusual.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection states that schools of dead dogfish washing ashore are common occurrences and they are not investigating the event. Professor Nagiewicz asserts that thirty dogfish washing up on a beach is not common anywhere he has worked during his career. He believes the sharks either got stranded at low tide or were caught as bycatch in fishing nets before drowning and eventually washing ashore.
