Boonton sees industrial sale, new rooftop solar project
A commercial property changed hands while a major apartment complex added clean energy capacity.
Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey reported the completion of three industrial transactions in Morris County. One deal involved the sale of a 12,000-square-foot facility located specifically in Boonton.
Separately, PowerLutions Solar finished installing a rooftop solar system at an AvalonBay apartment community in town. The project was developed with REV Energy Ventures and brings approximately 747 kilowatts DC of clean energy to the site.
This new installation aims to cut emissions while boosting local use of renewable power for residents. These developments reflect broader trends toward premium industrial spaces and distributed solar solutions in the region.
